Question
I applied an ointment for diarrhea. After removing it, red dots appeared on my skin again. The child has been scratching and it must be very itchy. Is there a way to solve this? We have Unguentum Aconiti and Red Madder. A jack-of-all-trades.
Answer
Based on your photo and description, this should be an allergic reaction to the ointment. Suggestion: You can take antihistamines like Nonagon or Cetrilizine orally, and if the itching is severe in a localized area, you can use calamine lotion or Piretanide cream. Note not to use the same ointment again in the future. This is a suggestion for the question ‘How do I handle red dots appearing on the skin after removing the ointment for diarrhea?’ I hope this helps and wish you health!
