Question

What is B+ blood type?

Answer

B+ blood type indicates that an individual’s blood type is B and the Rh factor is positive. It is one of the common blood types in Taiwan and usually does not affect newborns. However, if the mother’s blood type is Rh-negative and the father’s blood type is Rh-positive, there may be a risk of neonatal hemolytic disease. But in most cases, this risk is low and can be monitored and prevented through prenatal checks and appropriate medical management.
