Question
I’ve been experiencing persistent white rings on my tongue since I was young, and they never seem to go away. They disappear in one place and reappear elsewhere, and they’re a bit painful. Is this a disease? What should I do, and what medication or vitamins can I take?
Answer
Numbness on the tip of the tongue is often associated with slow blood flow, increased blood viscosity, changes in microcirculation, regional blood supply insufficiency, or insufficient brain blood supply. However, at your young age, it’s highly unlikely that there would be any changes in these areas. It might be due to eating the wrong things and poor digestion. You can try taking some vitamin B and C for digestion.
