Question
My baby has many small bumps on their body. The doctor at the hospital said it’s an allergic constitution. I suspect it’s from eating eggs. Can my baby still eat eggs? We haven’t noticed any allergies before, and none of the adults have allergies. Will my baby develop allergies as they grow up? When will the bumps on my baby’s body go away, and what kind of medicine should I use? Thank you!
Answer
If your baby’s body is covered in many rashes again, the most likely cause is an allergic reaction. I recommend having your baby tested for allergens. If they are allergic to egg whites, this can be detected. Of course, it’s best to avoid giving them eggs in the future. For now, you can give them some cetirizine, diphenhydramine, and vitamin C to help alleviate the symptoms.
