Diarrhea in a 7-month-old baby could be caused by enteritis, improper feeding, changes in climate, or viral or bacterial infections. You can give the child probiotics and Montmorillonite powder to regulate gastrointestinal function, and also oral rehydration salts to prevent dehydration. If the diarrhea is severe, with symptoms of dehydration, acidosis, and hypokalemia, intravenous treatment may be necessary.
