Question
I had a cough two days ago and occasionally had a fever. Today, when I went for a check-up, they said it was bronchitis pneumonia. I had an injection all day, and when I took the medicine at night, I vomited with a bit of blood in it. I am very worried!
Answer
Bronchitis pneumonia is one of the main common diseases in infancy, occurring throughout the year, most frequently during winter and spring or when there are drastic changes in weather, significantly disturbing the health of infants and even harming their bodies. The onset is acute, with irregular fever and cough; the cough starts out mild and later produces phlegm, with increased breathing rate, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and dry heaves. In severe cases, symptoms such as persistent high fever, cyanosis around the mouth, and blue lips may appear.
