My child has developed cold sores at the corners of their mouth. Initially, they were small and red, but now they’ve expanded like this, with purulent scabs that have formed and are getting bigger. Can I remove these yellowish scabs? I’ve been applying Acyclovir cream and taking Ribavirin granules.
