Question
Does anesthetizing growth hormone have any harmful effects on children’s bodies? After all, it is a hormone, and this is about how to help.
Answer
Children’s growth is primarily related to genetic factors. If the parents are not tall, the child usually will not be very tall either. However, one can make efforts in later life to appropriately increase height. This includes not being picky with food, having a balanced diet, eating more seasonal fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water, moderately consuming high-quality proteins from fish, shrimp, meat, and eggs, increasing outdoor activity time to enhance resistance, and appropriately supplementing vitamin D and calcium to promote bone growth. If necessary, growth hormone tests can be conducted. If it is found that there is a deficiency in growth hormone, medication may be required.
