Questions
How can I treat my baby’s gastric acid problem? My baby often has stomachaches, and we have been trying to find the cause but have not yet had a clear result. We hope to resolve the issue as much as possible by adjusting the diet, as we suspect it might be due to undigested food or discomfort in the baby’s body, or possibly related to eating too many snacks. Moreover, although some babies have a naturally smaller appetite, parents might mistakenly believe it’s due to dyspepsia and unwillingness to eat. We hope to find the cause and take dietary measures to improve the situation. Besides dietary therapy, I think encouraging more physical activity for the baby can also help with treating dyspepsia, as physical activity can promote gastrointestinal motility, which is beneficial for absorption.

Yam is believed to have the effects of strengthening the spleen and stomach. My baby also has a poor gastrointestinal condition, and I often give him some, with good results.
