According to the regulations in the Taiwan region, the vaccination schedule for children is as follows:

  • At birth, the first dose of hepatitis B vaccine and the BCG vaccine are administered.
  • At 1 month old, the second dose of hepatitis B vaccine is administered.
  • At 2 months old, the first dose of polio vaccine and the first dose of DTP (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) vaccine are administered.
  • At 3 months old, the second dose of polio vaccine and the second dose of DTP vaccine are administered.
  • At 4 months old, the third dose of polio vaccine and the third dose of DTP vaccine are administered.
  • At 5 months old, the third dose of DTP vaccine is administered.
  • At 6 months old, the third dose of hepatitis B vaccine and the first dose of A group meningococcal vaccine are administered.
  • At 8 months old, the first dose of measles vaccine and the second dose of Japanese encephalitis vaccine (live virus) are administered.
  • At 9 months old, the second dose of A group meningococcal vaccine is administered.
  • At 18 months old, the fourth dose of DTP vaccine and the second dose of measles vaccine are administered.
  • At 2 years old, the third dose of Japanese encephalitis vaccine (live virus) is administered.
  • At 3 years old, the third dose of A group meningococcal vaccine is administered.
  • At 4 years old, the fourth dose of polio vaccine is administered.
  • At 6 years old, the fourth dose of Japanese encephalitis vaccine (live virus), the fourth dose of A group meningococcal vaccine, and the first dose of DTP (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) vaccine are administered.
  • At 16 years old, the second dose of DTP (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) vaccine is administered.
