Question
How to treat children who can’t sleep?
Answer
Children who can’t sleep might be caused by a calcium or zinc deficiency, or possibly due to being startled during the day. Generally, children with calcium deficiency may experience symptoms such as restlessness during naps, restlessness, easy waking, excessive sweating, and poor hair growth. If the child is not sick but has a poor appetite, it may be due to an upset stomach. In such cases, you can give them some cooling medicine or drink some chrysanthemum and lily flower dew. If the child is restless at night, it may also be due to being overly startled during the day. In a few days, it might get better on its own.
