Question
The baby is four months old and has been drinking formula for a month or so. The stool has been green for a while now. We’ve seen a doctor and been prescribed medication, but it’s still the same. The stool test can’t be done within half an hour. The stool has been like this for a while, but the baby is otherwise fine and in good spirits! What should we do?
Answer
Based on the described situation, it’s considered related to the formula. It’s recommended to feed adequately; unlike breast milk, which produces yellow stools, if the baby is otherwise doing well, there’s no need to worry. Hope this helps!
