If it’s a mild infection, symptomatic anti-inflammatory medication can be taken along with fresh bamboo decoction or pediatric Mahan Gan Granules to treat cough and phlegm symptoms. In severe cases, intravenous fluid therapy is recommended. Additionally, be aware of the possibility of mycoplasma infection. If diagnosed with mycoplasma infection, treatment with erythromycin injection or oral azithromycin dry suspension is recommended.
