My baby is 8 months old. Lately, I’ve been feeding them at midnight, and they don’t cry or fuss at 9 or 10 AM. Before, they would want to feed at around 4 AM, but now they just wake up between 8 and 9 PM and lick their hands without crying or making a fuss. Is this okay?

An 8-month-old baby can be weaned off nighttime feedings. Therefore, the current state of the baby does not indicate any issues. It is recommended for an 8-month-old to have two feedings in the morning and evening, with three meals and some free-choice feeding. This adds up to about five meals a day.
