Question

My baby is two and a half months old, and I’ve noticed that his head is starting to be able to hold up. I want to know at what age a baby is considered normal in being able to hold up its head?

Answer

Babies typically need about 100 days after birth to be able to hold up their heads. However, every baby’s growth and development is different, and being 10 days early or late is within the normal range. Your baby is only two and a half months old, so even if he can hold up his head, it’s not recommended to keep him in that position for too long.
