Question

On the 15th day of natural childbirth, the milk supply is still insufficient, and I am currently combining feeding. The baby may be getting picky about the limited milk supply and not willing to suckle much. How can I increase my milk supply? Additionally, I’ve been feeling very thirsty and have a dry mouth and tongue, and my breasts feel soft, rarely feeling engorged.

Answer

Your situation should be considered in relation to whether it’s due to blocked milk ducts causing insufficient milk production, or possibly due to poor nutrition, overexertion, physical weakness, or not enough baby suckling. I suggest you should allow your baby to suckle more often and consider having a masseuse perform massage therapy to see if it has any effect. Moreover, you should not stop breastfeeding the baby just because of insufficient milk supply. You can try eating Tunca (a herb), Tunca Fish Soup, or Tunca Pork Tendon Soup; they are quite effective.
