Question
My child is 7 months old and has been shaking their head frequently lately. I want to know if this will affect the baby’s development?
Answer
Shaking the head is not related to calcium deficiency. Babies with calcium deficiency often have difficulty falling asleep, difficulty entering a deep sleep state, and may suddenly wake up crying at night. They may also experience symptoms such as acne on the head. When a baby shows these symptoms of calcium deficiency, they can go to the hospital for a trace element test. If diagnosed with calcium deficiency, medication can be taken according to the doctor’s instructions, and regular follow-ups should be scheduled.
