Question

My baby was born prematurely, and I’ve been very worried about the child’s condition from the start. Recently, the baby has been experiencing a series of these situations, and I’m very worried. I’m afraid the condition might worsen. How should I handle baby vomiting?

Answer

Vomiting is a common problem in infants, especially in those under six months of age. This is because infants’ muscles are not yet fully developed, their contraction strength is insufficient, and the junction between the stomach and esophagus cannot be tightly closed. Additionally, the position of the infant’s stomach is not tilted yet; it is almost horizontal, making milk easily flow to both ends. This is especially true when there is too much milk in the stomach or when the baby is active, which can cause milk to flow to both ends and lead to vomiting.
