Question

Why is my baby urinating so often? He only does it frequently between 17:00-19:00. Previous treatment and effectiveness: tests, detailed examination results: what kind of assistance is needed: what are the reasons, collect urine for hospital testing.

Answer

There is a large individual difference in the amount of urine in children. Normally, infants urinate 400-500 milliliters per day, young children 500-600 milliliters, pre-school children 600-800 milliliters, and school-age children 800-1400 milliliters. In the first few days after birth, children intake less, urinating only 4-5 times a day. After a week, as children’s metabolism intensifies and their water intake increases, but since their bladder capacity is small, the frequency of urination suddenly decreases to 20-25 times a day, and by one year old, it is 15-16 times a day.
