Question

What are the situations that may reappear when a child has bronchitis?

Answer

Pediatric bronchitis is a common and frequently occurring disease in children, which can greatly disturb their physical and mental health. Bronchitis is very common in the pediatric period and is mostly secondary to upper respiratory infections. When the disease begins, it first presents with symptoms of upper respiratory infection, such as nasal congestion and runny nose, followed by a gradual appearance of hoarse cough. Initially, respiratory secretions increase continuously, producing phlegm, which starts as mucous and quickly turns purulent. After 5-10 days, the sputum becomes thinner and the cough gradually diminishes.
