Question

What should I do if my child always coughs without vomiting?

Answer

Provide the baby with warm water for digestion and keep the food light and easy to digest. When bottle-feeding, make sure the nipple hole is appropriately sized and filled with milk to avoid air intake. If the baby is teething, you can switch to a larger hole pacifier or mix cereals like oatmeal or rice flour into a porridge to feed with a spoon. If the baby drinks milk too fast, remove the pacifier after 10 to 15 minutes of feeding and gently pat their back to release any air in the stomach.
