Question
How to solve the problem of a two-month-old baby vomiting?
Answer
Vomiting in newborns is a common occurrence, usually happening shortly after feeding, and the baby may spit out one or two mouthfuls of milk. If the child only vomits occasionally and is in good spirits, it may not indicate a problem. Vomiting is primarily due to the underdeveloped stomach and throat of newborns, as well as the possibility of swallowing air during feeding. When breastfeeding, ensure the baby’s mouth is fully latched onto the nipple to avoid air intake. When bottle-feeding, make sure the milk is filled to the brim of the nipple, leaving no air bubbles.
