My son is almost one and a half years old and is on formula milk. Lately, he can’t open his eyes when he wakes up in the morning. There’s a lot of sticky eye goo. What could be the reason? What medicine should I give him? Is there anything that can help?

Excessive eye mucus in the morning when your child wakes up may be a symptom of conjunctivitis. It’s recommended to add chrysanthemum extract to the formula milk, but it’s best to also use antibiotic eye drops for treatment.
