Question

How often should a baby teethe?

Answer

The timing of a baby’s teething can vary, with some babies as early as 4 months starting to sprout milk teeth, but most babies begin to teethe after 6 months. Teeth typically grow in pairs. The first to appear are the lower central incisors (front teeth), followed by the upper central incisors, then the lateral incisors, and then the first molars and canines, with the last being the second molars. Generally, by the age of 3, all 20 primary teeth should have emerged.
