Question
How to block Hepatitis B in newborns?
Answer
The child receives the Hepatitis B vaccine at birth, followed by the Hepatitis B immune globulin two hours later. They can receive both the Hepatitis B vaccine and immune globulin simultaneously when they are one month old, and then get the Hepatitis B vaccine again at around six months. The blocking rate is over 95%, and it is recommended to check the two pairs and half around the age of seven months.
