Question

My child is 12 years old. They had a cold and saw a doctor, receiving a week of intravenous drips before the condition seemed to improve, so we didn’t continue with medical treatment. However, a week ago, the child started coughing again, and we didn’t see a doctor but bought cough medicine from a pharmacy for them to take. Although the cough has somewhat improved, the child feels cold all over their body at night but not during the day, with no fever in the head, and the eyelids are painful. I would like to know what could be causing this and which department should I consult? Thank you very much!

Answer

Hello, based on the information you’ve provided, if the child’s body temperature is normal, there should be no major concerns, so please don’t worry too much. It is recommended not to dress your child in too many clothes, maintain reasonable rest and diet. Wishing your child a healthy growth.
