Question

How to care for neonatal hemolytic disease?

Answer

Neonatal hemolytic disease often occurs in mothers who have had a history of miscarriage in early pregnancy or are pregnant with their second child. Women who have had unexplained stillbirths, miscarriages, or a history of severe jaundice in newborns and are planning to conceive again should undergo ABO and Rh blood type testing with their partner in advance to check for the presence of anti-A and anti-B antibodies. This test can be conducted at large comprehensive hospitals or large blood banks.
