Question
My five-month-old daughter has been experiencing frequent diarrhea recently, with an increase in frequency. She has diarrhea shortly after breastfeeding, and her stools are watery with milk residue. After examining the stool, the doctor diagnosed it as viral infection accompanied by a cold, along with coughing symptoms. Although she has taken Biseptol but there has been no improvement, I am wondering if I need to seek intravenous treatment.
Answer
It is not recommended to undergo intravenous treatment. You can try an alternative remedy: roast a head of garlic with the skin on until it’s charred, then boil it with half a bowl of water. Add an appropriate amount of sugar and take it once a day. It usually takes two to three days to improve digestion and stop diarrhea. I hope this can help you solve the problem, and I hope you will accept my advice. Feel free to contact me at any time if you need assistance. I will do my best to help you.
