Do not consume it if you are unsure about your and your baby’s recent sensitivity to penicillin. If necessary, your baby can undergo a penicillin skin test. Animal perinatal experiments show that Amoxicillin at 10 times the human dose did not harm the fertility of rats and mice. However, there is a lack of sufficient comparative trials in humans, and considering that animal perinatal experiments cannot fully predict human reactions, pregnant women should only use this product when absolutely necessary. Since a very small amount of Amoxicillin can be excreted into breast milk, breastfeeding mothers may cause their infants to be allergic.
