Question

What are the symptoms of pediatric bronchial asthma?

Answer

Children with bronchial asthma are prone to symptoms like snoring, difficulty breathing due to shortness of breath, and coughing. Typically, bronchial asthma is associated with bacteria entering the respiratory tract and severe pain from allergic attacks on the airways. Additionally, bronchial asthma can also lead to symptoms like fever and throat itching. If exposed to allergens or have had a cold with a cool allergy attack, it’s even more likely to recur repeatedly. Bronchial asthma often recurs at night or in the morning. While most patients can relieve discomfort symptoms on their own, some may require treatment. Medications such as symptomatic anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-allergic bronchodilators can be taken for treatment. In cases of recurrent attacks, using an asthma inhaler for preventive treatment is recommended. To prevent catching a cold, it’s suggested to wear a mask when outdoors.
