Question

Last year, I felt unwell and was diagnosed with osteomyelitis of the hip at the hospital. After taking some medication, what are the treatment methods for osteomyelitis?

Answer

Osteomyelitis is a condition related to synovitis of the knee joint. Osteoarthritis of the knee in the elderly is secondary, primarily caused by mechanical overload due to cartilage degeneration and bone fibrosis. Acute trauma and chronic injuries are common in middle-aged and young adults. Acute injuries include knee sprains, meniscus tears, collateral or cruciate ligament injuries, joint effusion, or sometimes skin breaks, which may present as acute traumatic osteomyelitis of the knee. Medication can be taken to alleviate symptoms.
