Question

What is the best method for treating pediatric enuresis?

Answer

Bedwetting, also known as nocturnal enuresis, is the involuntary urination during deep sleep in children aged 5 or older. Generally speaking, mild bedwetting (i.e., not frequent) is not considered a disease and usually disappears naturally with age. On the contrary, frequent and persistent bedwetting may be related to hidden pathological causes and requires attention and appropriate treatment. If a child frequently wets the bed after the age of 3, it is recommended that parents take their child to the hospital immediately. First, check whether it is a pathological case of bedwetting.
