Question
How is pediatric epilepsy treated?
Answer
Epilepsy is diagnosed through electroencephalogram during recurrence. Causes of pediatric epilepsy include high fever seizures, and severe or frequent high fever seizures during childhood can easily lead to regional hypoxia or edema. Once diagnosed with epilepsy, long-term medication treatment is necessary. Also, for timely symptom management, long-term medication treatment is required as well.
