- Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency: Symptoms include weakness in the limbs, muscle atrophy, loose skin, fatigue, lack of appetite, pale or swollen skin, shortness of breath, and possible erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. The tongue coating is thin and white, the tongue body is pale and plump, with a deep fine pulse.
- Dry Heat Damage to Body Fluids: Symptoms include muscle atrophy in the palms, dry skin, grooves between tendons, insufficient grip strength, or tremors. There may also be symptoms of restlessness and thirst, dry throat discomfort, thin yellow tongue coating, dry mouth, reddish tongue body, fine and sticky pulse.
