Question
My baby is 9 months old and weighs 12 pounds. He doesn’t allow himself to be fed breast milk during the day, but he’s been like this for almost three months and still only drinks breast milk. He can only have about 200 milliliters of formula milk each day, eats half a yolk in the morning, a small bowl of porridge at noon or in the afternoon, and breast milk in the evening.
Answer
At 9 months old, if your baby dislikes formula milk, it’s recommended to continue breastfeeding if breast milk is sufficient. If breast milk is insufficient, drinking more soup won’t help much, and you might consider weaning. After weaning, the baby may begin to accept formula milk.
