Question
Is there a connection between cesarean section and ADHD?
Answer
ADHD and cesarean section surgery are not directly related. With the numerous cesarean sections now performed in clinical diagnosis, babies are generally healthy. The causes of ADHD are many, such as genetic factors from previous generations, or difficulties with water aspiration and breathing during pregnancy. Alternatively, if the baby grows up in an unsuitable environment, such as parents constantly arguing, or the child spending long periods in a tense environment, it can lead to many psychological changes.
