Question
A 6-month-old baby cannot lift their head, can roll over, and has normal appetite. There are no significant abnormalities, but the baby sometimes trembles. Can Down Syndrome be cured?
Answer
Down Syndrome is generally a congenital growth and development disorder. It is not correct to say that it was diagnosed only after careful examination, or that there has been a mistake in the description, or that there is still insufficient understanding of the disease. Down Syndrome is actually a congenital intellectual developmental disability, so it is basically impossible for a recent diagnosis to be of this nature. The main consideration is still Alzheimer’s disease leading to confusion in recognizing people.
