Question

What are the symptoms of pediatric nephritic syndrome?

Answer

This condition encompasses various types and cannot be easily predicted whether it will heal on its own. A common pathological type of pediatric kidney disease is the microscopic inflammation type, which is easy to treat. The main symptoms of pediatric nephritic syndrome include:

  1. Frequent appearance of purpura on the skin, sometimes forming hemorrhagic blisters on the limbs.
  2. Gastrointestinal symptoms usually appear after skin problems, accompanied by nausea, and in severe cases, may result in hematuria.
  3. Joint symptoms manifest as redness, swelling, and pain in the limbs’ joints, often migratory, disappearing after a few months but may recur with low fever.
