Question
What are the symptoms of pediatric nephritic syndrome?
Answer
This condition encompasses various types and cannot be easily predicted whether it will heal on its own. A common pathological type of pediatric kidney disease is the microscopic inflammation type, which is easy to treat. The main symptoms of pediatric nephritic syndrome include:
- Frequent appearance of purpura on the skin, sometimes forming hemorrhagic blisters on the limbs.
- Gastrointestinal symptoms usually appear after skin problems, accompanied by nausea, and in severe cases, may result in hematuria.
- Joint symptoms manifest as redness, swelling, and pain in the limbs’ joints, often migratory, disappearing after a few months but may recur with low fever.
