Question
I’ve recently noticed that my eyes sometimes have trouble seeing things clearly, and at times they are particularly blurry. I need to wear glasses to see properly. My vision has always been good before, and I don’t know why it’s like this now. Could blurred vision be a symptom of glaucoma?
Answer
Blurred vision does not necessarily indicate glaucoma. You may need to check for myopia or hyperopia, and undergo a retinal examination to determine if there are any issues such as retinal hemorrhage. If you experience increased eye pressure or pain, it could be a sign of glaucoma and further checks like eye pressure measurement may be required. It is recommended that you visit an ophthalmologist promptly for a detailed examination to determine the cause of the problem.
