Question
What are the causes of infant seizures within two days?
Answer
After two days of seizures, an infant was found to have cerebral hemorrhage. Clinically, only some diagnostic clues can be provided. If the cerebrospinal fluid examination shows a uniform blood color and detects collapsed red blood cells, it can help confirm cerebral hemorrhage. However, even with normal examination results, the possibility of this condition cannot be excluded. Additionally, it is not recommended to perform such procedures during critical illness. Imaging examinations are helpful for diagnosis, with CT and ultrasound scans indicating the location and extent of the hemorrhage, aiding in predicting the prognosis.
