Question
What are the symptoms of facial paralysis predisposition?
Answer
Facial paralysis patients may exhibit symptoms such as bulging eyes, with the two eyes not on the same horizontal line. The affected side’s pupil is also noticed to be lower than the healthy side. On the healthy side, this is also a symptom of facial paralysis. In addition, patients may experience disordered tear duct secretion, leading to numbness of the facial nerve in the tear ducts, resulting in too little tear secretion or even dryness, while on the other side, tears can normally be secreted.
