Question
What are the early symptoms of facial paralysis?
Answer
Early symptoms of facial paralysis include abnormalities of the eyebrows and eyes, as well as exposure of eyelashes. When patients try to close their eyes tightly, if their eyelashes are exposed, particularly in cases with mild facial paralysis, the symptoms may not be obvious. However, within a short period, there may be a slight asymmetry in eyelash alignment, a condition referred to as male eye asymmetry.
