Edema is one of the manifestations of kidney syndrome, and its recurrence and severity are positively correlated with the degree of hypoalbuminemia. Early symptoms may only manifest as eyelid edema or slight lower limb edema. However, as the level of serum albumin decreases, edema may gradually worsen and even spread to the face, legs, or other areas.
