Question

My child is 10 years old and has a temper. Sometimes, even when they know it’s wrong, they still insist on doing it. Punishment doesn’t work, and they continue to act this way even after being punished. Now, they don’t like to play, get angry over trivial matters, and then appear very angry. They lack patience and argue back no matter what is said. Although they understand the logic, they just don’t do it… I want to know if their rebellious nature is appearing too early? And how can this situation be alleviated? As parents, we have tried both soft and hard approaches, but the results haven’t been good after the fact.

Answer

The main objects of child mental health counseling are mainly two types: direct objects, which mainly include normal children and children with various mental health issues; and indirect objects, which mainly include the child’s parents, teachers, classmates, friends, and other individuals and organizations concerned with and managing child mental training. For children without a desire for medical treatment, guidance needs to be implemented; for children with a weak desire for medical treatment, evolution needs to be implemented. This is the primary guarantee for formulating and implementing counseling plans in the next step.
