Question
How serious is right hip osteonecrosis? My recent health check report indicated right hip osteonecrosis. How serious is this condition? Since I haven’t received a follow-up yet, I’ve looked up a lot of information, and there are various opinions. Will there be any residual symptoms left behind? What could be the cause of this?
Answer
Right hip osteonecrosis isn’t very serious; it’s a common hip joint disease. It could be due to congenital hip joint structural abnormalities or possibly overexertion, leading to ischemic necrosis in the surrounding area. Usually, acupuncture therapy can be attempted, but it may recur. There are many potential residual symptoms, so it’s important to ensure adequate rest and pay attention to regional cold prevention.
