Surgery can be used to treat allergic rhinitis, but its effectiveness in treating facial paralysis is relatively poor. The best time to treat facial paralysis is during the first month of the acute phase; recovery becomes more difficult afterward. In the later stages, rehabilitation can be carried out through medication and acupuncture, but there may be sequelae.
