Question
How should newborn jaundice be handled?
Answer
Newborn jaundice is divided into pathological jaundice and physiological jaundice. If the baby’s general condition, such as mental state, appetite, and deep sleep, is good, and if the recurrence of jaundice after birth is within the normal range, we generally consider it physiological jaundice, and there is no need to worry excessively. For pathological jaundice, we should promptly take the child to the hospital for blue light therapy.
