Question

My seven-month-old baby, this morning, I placed her on the ground to sit up, and after a while, she fell backward onto the ground. Will this have an impact on the baby’s brain development, could it be a Brain concussion? (On ceramic tiles), when can a baby sit up?

Answer

Typically, a normally developed baby can sit up around six months. There are milestones such as rolling over at three months, sitting at six months, crawling at seven months, pulling up at eight months, and walking at one year. If these activities are not achieved within the normal months, it may be considered that the baby has a congenital disease. Either the baby’s development is poor, or there is a congenital spinal defect, or there is a deficiency of trace elements.
