Not lifting the head may be a part of a newborn’s normal development, but if the baby still doesn’t lift their head after three months, it’s advisable to take them to the hospital for an immediate check-up and a trace element test to see if there is a calcium or vitamin D deficiency. Usually, it is due to calcium deficiency.
