The normal range for neonatal jaundice index is generally not more than 15mg/dl. When the index reaches 16.5mg/dl, it is already above the standard, but if other conditions such as urine, stool, appetite, and eating status are normal, and only the facial skin is yellowish, it is recommended to observe at home. If the condition worsens, one should immediately go to a local authorized medical institution for treatment.
